Godwin Fresh Market opened its doors on Raleigh Street with a simple idea: if a product doesn't belong on your table, it doesn't belong on our shelf. We started as a neighborhood grocery and added an in-house bakery because we wanted you to taste the difference that fresh makes.

We order small and order often. That means the produce you see on Tuesday is the produce that arrived Monday. It means our bread is out of the oven before most people are out of bed. And it means when you walk in, you're seeing what's actually good right now — not what's been sitting since last week.
